Komrisk vs TeamLease RegTrack: how they compare, and the alternatives

Komrisk (Lexplosion) and TeamLease RegTrack both manage Indian statutory compliance. RegTrack publishes a larger dated library and a detailed performer, reviewer and approver workflow. Komrisk publishes a 70K+ repository, named AI tools and an offline mobile app. Alternatives include Complinity, LexComply, Simpliance, Finnulate and IntelloComply. Facts are from vendors' own pages on 25 October 2026, except our own IntelloSync section.

What actually separates compliance software for India

Library size gets the headlines, but five questions decide the shortlist.

  • Applicability: can the vendor build the register for one of your entities in one state during a trial, with the Act, section and due date for each obligation?
  • Updates: how many government sources are monitored, how fast a change reaches your register, and whether a person approves it first.
  • Proof: who uploads evidence, whether the maker, checker and approver roles are enforced, and whether uploaded proof can be altered.
  • Scope: are contract, licence, litigation and vendor obligations tracked in the same register, or elsewhere?
  • Commercials: how pricing is set, where data is hosted, and which certifications are the vendor's own.

TeamLease RegTrack and Komrisk, side by side

Each line is what the vendor publishes; where a point is not published on the pages read, the line says so.

  • Library: RegTrack states 1,536 Acts and 69,233 compliance obligations as of August 2026. Komrisk states a 70K+ compliance repository across central, state and municipal laws, without saying what is counted or as of when.
  • Updates: RegTrack says it monitors about 3,750 government websites and that changes typically appear within 24 to 48 hours. Komrisk says updates are fetched automatically from central, state and municipal websites in real time. Neither page describes a research method beyond monitoring.
  • Workflow and evidence: RegTrack publishes a named performer, reviewer and approver on every compliance, escalation schedules, evidence that cannot be modified once uploaded, and time-bound read-only auditor access. Komrisk publishes escalation to senior management on breach; maker and checker roles, evidence immutability and auditor access are not published on the pages read.
  • AI: RegTrack names a semantic search, a circular summariser, licence detail extraction, risk scoring and predictive alerts. Komrisk names KAI (a conversational assistant), Kompare (checks compliance proofs) and RegIQ (risk analysis).
  • Other modules: RegTrack lists audit, litigation, ICFR, contract management, an RBI financial institutions edition and licence management. Komrisk lists Komtrakt for contracts, Komtrol for SEBI LODR disclosures, regulatory audits and an internal compliance module.
  • Mobile: both publish mobile apps; Komrisk says its app works offline.
  • Pricing and certifications: both are quote-only. TeamLease states SOC 2 Type II and ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Lexplosion refers to ISO 27001, and its pages differ on whether it holds the certification or builds to the standard. Neither publishes a hosting provider or region on the pages read.
  • Offices: TeamLease RegTech lists a Pune address, with other cities listed as branches. Lexplosion is headquartered in Kolkata.

Complinity

Complinity (Gurugram) covers 3,000+ laws and 40,000+ compliances on its pages, with applicable laws identified by lawyers, company secretaries and chartered accountants, and near-real-time updates. It adds contracts, litigation, audit, internal financial control and risk as separate add-on modules. Among the vendors whose pages were read it is the only one that shows prices on its website: 15,000 a month for two users and one entity, then 25,000 and 35,000, with a custom tier above that (the page shows no currency symbol), plus a one-time implementation charge. It states ISO 27001 and SOC 2, among other certifications, offers cloud with on-premise at different commercials, and its coverage is India-focused. Named AI features, a mobile app and a maker, checker and approver workflow are not published on the pages read.

LexComply

LexComply (RSJ Lexsys, New Delhi) says its AI scans 200+ government portals daily, with legal and compliance professionals reviewing. It publishes a maker-checker closure, a five-level responsibility matrix and an auditor role, vendor and third-party compliance, and several AI features by name. Its pages give different counts: 150,000+ compliances on one page and 100K+ on another, and 30+ countries on one page and 23 on another. It supports a Tier-IV data centre or on-premise deployment and states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. Pricing is not published.

Simpliance

Simpliance, from the Aparajitha group, is a labour-law-focused product. Its Classic page states 186 Acts, 496 rules and 6,918 tasks, without a date, and a SEAL engine that uses AI and machine learning to audit items such as minimum wages, PF and ESIC. Its REMO page states an in-built maker-checker control. Pricing, hosting, certifications and an address are not published on the pages read.

Finnulate

Finnulate describes an AI-native compliance platform for regulated financial institutions, with five named capabilities: circular ingestion, grouping and lineage mapping, policy generation, obligation extraction, and compliance checks with alerts. It lists regulators including RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, IFSCA and several overseas regulators. It offers a seven-day trial after a demo request. Library size, pricing, hosting and an office are not published on the page read.

BLISS (CimplyFive, now part of Clear), Lawrbit and Clear Compass

Clear's own pages describe BLISS as cloud software for company law and SEBI LODR compliance, with data held in India and ISO 27001, ISO 27018 and SOC 2 Type 2 listed. It is secretarial-first rather than an all-law register. Lawrbit's and Clear Compass's own pages could not be read on 25 October, so they are not assessed here; check them directly before shortlisting.

IntelloSync (IntelloComply)

We build this product, so read this section as the vendor's own account; the other sections are taken from each vendor's pages. IntelloComply is the compliance module of the IntelloSync platform. It maps the register that applies to your entities, states and sector at onboarding, from the Acts, circulars, licences and contracts that govern you. It ships with 300+ cited statutory obligations, 340+ controls, 43 business-event triggers and 46 licence types, covers every Indian state and union territory plus the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia, and reads 15 official regulator sources every night, proposing each change as an edit for a person to approve. AI extracts obligations, owners and due dates from contracts and regulatory PDFs. Because it shares one repository with IntelloContract and IntelloVendor, contractual and third-party obligations sit in the same register as statutory filings. It is priced by number of legal entities with unlimited users and AI included, with a 30-day free trial. IntelloSync is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana.

Which fits which

From the vendors' own descriptions, not a ranking.

  • Multi-site employers with heavy labour and environmental obligations: RegTrack and Simpliance describe this focus; Komrisk and Complinity describe general coverage.
  • Financial institutions: RegTrack's RBI edition, Komrisk's SEBI LODR product Komtrol, and Finnulate describe regulator-specific tooling.
  • Company secretarial teams: BLISS.
  • Groups across India and other countries, or teams whose obligations come mostly from contracts and vendors: LexComply and IntelloComply describe this.
  • A published entry price: Complinity.

How to test it in a trial

A library count says little until you see your own register.

  • Ask each vendor to build the register for one of your entities and one state, and count the obligations that actually apply, with Act, section and due date.
  • Make a change in a regulation and time how long it takes to reach the register, and who approves it.
  • Upload evidence, then try to edit or delete it as the person who uploaded it.
  • Give an auditor a login and see what they can and cannot open.
  • Ask for the library count with its unit and date in writing.

Information as of 25 October 2026, taken from each vendor's own website, help centre and public review listings; verify current capabilities and pricing with the vendor.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between Komrisk and TeamLease RegTrack?

On their own pages, RegTrack publishes a dated library of 1,536 Acts and 69,233 obligations, a performer, reviewer and approver workflow, and unmodifiable evidence. Komrisk publishes a 70K+ repository without a date or unit, named AI tools (KAI, Kompare, RegIQ), an offline mobile app, and Komtrakt for contracts. Both are quote-only.

What are alternatives to Komrisk and TeamLease RegTrack?

Complinity, LexComply, Simpliance, Finnulate and IntelloSync's IntelloComply, and BLISS for company secretarial work. Lawrbit and Clear Compass also compete but their pages could not be read on 25 October 2026.

Which of these vendors publish prices?

Of the vendors whose pages were read, only Complinity: 15,000 a month for two users and one entity, then 25,000 and 35,000, with a one-time implementation charge and no currency symbol shown. TeamLease, Lexplosion, LexComply, Simpliance and Finnulate do not publish prices on the pages read. IntelloSync says it prices IntelloComply by legal entity with unlimited users.

Are the library counts comparable?

No. Vendors count Acts, laws, rules, tasks, compliances or obligations, and only TeamLease dates its figure. LexComply gives different counts on different pages. Ask each vendor for the count with its unit and date, and test on your own entities.

Which tools cover compliance outside India?

LexComply says 30+ countries on one page and 23 on another. Finnulate lists several overseas financial regulators. IntelloSync says IntelloComply covers India, the United States, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. TeamLease says it serves enterprises in India and across the globe without naming countries, and Komrisk's page shows a country selector without coverage detail.
