IntelloSync vs Zoho Contracts

Zoho Contracts, launched in July 2021 by Chennai-based Zoho Corporation, is the CLM inside the Zoho suite, with a browser editor, Zoho Sign included and published per-user pricing. IntelloSync is an AI-native platform where contracts stay as real Microsoft Word documents, execution covers Aadhaar eSign, DSC, Zoho Sign, DocuSign, Adobe Sign and e-stamping, and CLM shares one repository with vendor, compliance, document and litigation modules. The facts below come from each company's published pages as of 2 October 2026.

Zoho Contracts at a glance

Zoho Contracts offers built-in templates and a clause library, form-based contract creation, sequential and parallel approval workflows, online negotiation with colour-coded redlining, Zoho Sign at no extra cost, an obligations tab with AI-assisted discovery and reminders, 30+ reports and integrations with Zoho CRM, DocuSign (added September 2026), Leegality and ChatGPT. Zoho is bootstrapped, holds ISO 27001, 27017 and 27018 and SOC 2 Type 2, and runs Indian data centres in Mumbai and Chennai.

IntelloSync at a glance

IntelloContract is the contract module of the IntelloSync platform. Contracts are drafted from templates and negotiated as real .docx files in Word Online or desktop Word, with the Copilot add-in reviewing against your playbooks inside the Word pane. Approvals route by contract type, value and department. Execution supports Aadhaar OTP eSign, DSC token signing and virtual signatures, plus Zoho Sign, DocuSign and Adobe Sign for global counterparties, with digital e-stamping in the same flow. After signature, the repository extracts parties, dates and obligations and feeds renewals to a calendar with owners and alerts. The same repository, permission model and AI layer serve IntelloVault (documents), IntelloVendor (third-party risk), IntelloComply (regulatory and contractual obligations) and IntelloCase (litigation). Pricing is per module with unlimited users, with a 30-day free trial. IntelloSync is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified.

Where you negotiate

Zoho Contracts' default editor is Zoho Writer in the browser. Its help centre explains that a counterparty who wants to suggest edits in Word must have the desktop application with Track Changes switched on, and an August 2026 release added a Microsoft Word desktop integration as a premium feature; Word Online is not mentioned. Word templates can be uploaded and edited with fields. IntelloSync never converts the document: the contract remains a .docx edited in Word Online or desktop Word, so numbering, cross-references and tracked changes stay intact across every version, and the Copilot add-in reviews it in the Word pane.

Signing and stamping in India

Zoho Sign, included with Zoho Contracts, supports Aadhaar eSign through eMudhra at two Zoho Sign credits per signature, and DSC token signing. Indian e-stamping is available only through Zoho's Leegality integration, on the Professional plan and in the India data centre. IntelloSync supports Aadhaar OTP eSign, DSC and virtual signatures natively, plus Zoho Sign, DocuSign and Adobe Sign, and manages e-stamping and stamp inventory in the same flow, without a plan restriction.

Scope beyond the contract

Zoho Contracts manages counterparties and contract dates, but vendor management, a regulatory compliance calendar and litigation management are not published; those needs are met by other Zoho applications or outside the suite. IntelloSync's IntelloVendor, IntelloComply, IntelloVault and IntelloCase share the contract repository, so a supplier's due diligence, its contracts, its obligations and any dispute are one record.

Pricing

Zoho publishes its prices: free for three users with 10 contracts, then ₹1,500 (Standard, 25 contracts per user per month), ₹2,400 (Professional, unlimited contracts, obligations, Zoho CRM and DocuSign) and ₹3,000 (Premium, adds ChatGPT) per user per month billed annually, with a 15-day free trial. That is excellent value for a small team. For a legal, procurement and finance population of 50 or 200 people who all need to request, approve or read contracts, per-user pricing grows with headcount; IntelloSync's per-module price with unlimited users does not. Put your own headcount into both models.

Choose Zoho Contracts if…

you are a small or mid-sized organisation standardised on Zoho CRM and Writer, you are comfortable negotiating in a browser editor, your volumes fit the per-user tiers, and Indian e-stamping through the Leegality integration on the Professional plan is enough.

Choose IntelloSync if…

your lawyers negotiate in Microsoft Word, including Word Online, you need Aadhaar eSign, DSC and e-stamping in one native flow, many people across the company touch contracts, or you want vendor and compliance management on the same data.
