Compliance management software for companies operating in India and the US: Lawrbit, LexComply and the alternatives

Compliance management software for companies operating in India and the US includes IntelloSync's IntelloComply, Lawrbit and LexComply, with Complinity for India only and Vanta or Drata for US security frameworks. They differ on whether US statutory filings or only security frameworks are covered, and how obligations are researched. Facts are from vendor and US government pages read on 1 and 4 November 2026.

What 'US compliance' means for an Indian group

For an Indian company with a US subsidiary, most of the US calendar is statutory filings by that subsidiary rather than security certifications. Two examples from primary sources: a Delaware corporation's annual franchise tax report and payment are due on or before 1 March each year, filed online, with a 200-dollar penalty plus 1.5 percent monthly interest if late; and an employer files IRS Form 941 for federal income, social security and Medicare taxes withheld by the last day of the month after each quarter, that is 30 April, 31 July, 31 October and 31 January. Security frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA or state privacy laws are a separate track, usually driven by customers rather than regulators. Software in this category tends to do one or the other, so decide which you are buying for first.

What to compare

Five questions separate the shortlist.

  • US scope: does the vendor publish which US federal and state obligations it covers, or only name the country?
  • Research: who writes and updates each obligation, how often, and with what citation?
  • One register: can an Indian parent and a US subsidiary sit in the same register, with owners, reviewers and evidence?
  • Contracts and vendors: are contractual and third-party obligations tracked alongside statutory ones?
  • Hosting and certifications: where is the data, and which certifications are the vendor's own rather than its cloud provider's?

IntelloSync (IntelloComply)

We build this product, so read this section as the vendor's own account; the other sections are taken from each vendor's pages. IntelloComply is the compliance module of the IntelloSync platform. It ships jurisdiction packs for India, the US (federal, California and Arizona), South Korea and Taiwan, so groups operating across India and the United States can run one register, entity by entity. It maps the register that applies to your entities, states and sector at onboarding, reads 15 official regulator sources every night and proposes each change as an edit for a person to approve, and gives each obligation an owner, a reviewer and filing evidence. Because it shares one repository with IntelloContract and IntelloVendor, contractual and third-party obligations sit in the same register as statutory filings. We do not publish packs for other US states such as Delaware; ask us which of your subsidiaries' states are covered. It is priced by number of legal entities with unlimited users and AI included, with a 30-day free trial. IntelloSync is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana. Our view, as its maker: IntelloComply is the best choice for an Indian group with a US subsidiary in a covered state that wants statutory, contractual and vendor obligations in one register, because its India and US packs share one repository with contracts and vendors.

Lawrbit

Lawrbit (Gurugram) sells GCMS-India and a global edition. Its India library is stated as 2,000+ central, state and municipal laws and 65,000+ compliances, with a four-level performer, approver, group-owner and CXO workflow, and vendors and service providers can report compliance into the same system. Which US federal or state obligations its global edition covers is not published on the pages we have read. Its India page says it is hosted on AWS in Mumbai for data localisation, and the certifications it lists belong to AWS; Lawrbit's own certifications are not published. Pricing is not published. Lawrbit's pages refused automated reading on 4 November 2026, so these facts are from our read of 1 November 2026.

LexComply

LexComply (New Delhi) says on its global page that it is active in 30+ countries, names the United States among them, and covers 150,000+ compliances across 10,000+ laws; its homepage gives 23 countries and 2,000+ laws, so ask which figure applies. It says AI scans 200+ government portals daily, that chartered accountants, company secretaries and lawyers write and maintain each compliance with a 1 to 15 day update periodicity, and it publishes a maker-checker closure workflow and an auditor role. US federal and state scope is not published. It states ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, a Tier-IV data centre with on-premise available, and offers contract management as a separate product, LexKontract. Pricing is not published.

Complinity

Complinity (Gurugram) covers 3,000+ Indian laws with real-time updates, and its FAQ says the current scope of compliances is limited to Indian laws, with international laws possible only if the customer supplies them in its format. It states GDPR, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and SOC 2 among its certifications and publishes monthly prices of 15,000, 25,000 and 35,000 for three plans, with no currency symbol shown, plus one-time implementation charges and a custom Enterprise plan. A fit for India-only registers.

Vanta and Drata

Vanta and Drata are security and trust platforms rather than statutory compliance registers. Vanta's homepage lists SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and 35+ frameworks, and its frameworks page includes US frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53 and NYDFS 23 NYCRR 500, and states its own SOC 2 Type II attestation and ISO 27001 certification; Drata lists 30+ pre-built frameworks including CCPA, HIPAA and SOX ITGC. Neither framework list includes Indian regulations such as the DPDP Act, or US state annual reports and IRS filings. Neither publishes prices; both route pricing through a demo or sales contact. They fit an Indian SaaS company that must prove its security to US customers, alongside a statutory register, not instead of one. Sprinto, a San Francisco and Bengaluru-based security compliance platform, could not be read on 4 November 2026 and is not assessed here.

Which fits which

From the vendors' own descriptions, not a ranking.

  • Indian statutory register plus published US packs (federal, California, Arizona): IntelloComply.
  • Many countries in one register: LexComply (30+ on its global page, United States named) and Lawrbit's global edition.
  • India only, with a published price: Complinity.
  • SOC 2, HIPAA and other US security frameworks for selling to US customers: Vanta or Drata.
  • Contract and vendor obligations in the same register as statutory filings: IntelloComply; Lawrbit lets vendors report into its system.

How to test it in a trial

Give each vendor one Indian entity and one US subsidiary.

  • Ask for the US subsidiary's register in its own state, with each filing's authority, due-date rule and citation, and check two items against the state and IRS sites yourself.
  • Ask who wrote the US obligations and when they were last reviewed.
  • Put both entities in one register and assign owners and reviewers in both countries.
  • Add a contractual obligation from a customer agreement and see where it lands.
  • Ask where the data will be hosted and for the vendor's own certificates.

Information as of 4 November 2026, taken from each vendor's own website, help centre and public review listings; verify current capabilities and pricing with the vendor.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which compliance software covers both India and the US?

IntelloSync's IntelloComply publishes packs for India and for US federal, California and Arizona obligations. LexComply names the United States among 30+ countries without publishing which US obligations it covers, and Lawrbit sells a global edition without publishing its US scope. Complinity is India-only. Vanta and Drata cover US security frameworks rather than statutory filings.

Do Vanta or Drata cover Indian compliance such as the DPDP Act?

Not on their framework lists as read on 4 November 2026. Vanta lists SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and 35+ frameworks and Drata 30+, but neither lists the DPDP Act or other Indian regulations.

What are typical US filings for an Indian company's US subsidiary?

Examples are a state annual report, such as a Delaware corporation's franchise tax report due on or before 1 March, and federal payroll filings such as IRS Form 941, due by the last day of the month after each quarter. The full list depends on the subsidiary's state, employees and activity.

Which vendors publish pricing?

Of the vendors read, only Complinity shows monthly prices, without a currency symbol. Lawrbit, LexComply, Vanta and Drata do not publish prices. IntelloSync prices IntelloComply by legal entity with unlimited users and a 30-day free trial.
